What can I say.. This is the part that I truly hate, describing myself. I’m more of a : get to know me in person and you’ll see for yourself.
To keep things basic, I’m painter, artist, whichever one you prefer. I have a big heart, a loud mouth, a passion to dance my troubles away and glass that will never be too full of vodka.
In this blog you will get to know me, live my struggles with me, see my work, all at the same time. From love life struggles, to going out, to picking up a few cans and painting my stress away… I’m only human who has made many mistakes, and is gonna make much more. But isn’t that the fun in life? I’m here to cry, laugh, and grow.
Born In Brooklyn, raised in the Bronx. I guess that’s the usual answer when asked where are you from. My Dominican Roots, strong as ever.
A tough mother who I’ve always yearned to impressed. Being the only girl and oldest at that. The pressure.
Growing up I was always the popular, tomboyish, yet always nice little kid on the block with the biggest smile. As time passed I became more of the rebel, an attitude many still can’t handle.
I started sketching in notepads at a young age, wanting to escape the reality of my surroundings. I never stopped. I attended a specialized high school focused on the arts. Not like it mattered really, I was always cutting class. You guessed it, I dropped out. But don’t flatter yourself. I finished, all on my own. 
I take so much pride in always having to do for myself. I don’t come from a family with a lot of money, which has only made me tougher.I have been working since the age of 16. I have the hardest time asking others for help, I like the satisfaction of being able to tell myself ” I did this”. I can be the most stubborn person, or the sweetest depending on how you present yourself first. I strive to be the greatest that I can possibly be. I have pushed myself to make the name Minxinx not only to stand out but to ‘wow’ you. My Minxettes originally started off in high school. I majored in Fashion Illustration, my teacher was never really fond of me. I guess my attitude and my lack of attendance had to do with that. Of course the models had to be skinny, what else is new in the fashion world. So I took it upon myself to piss off the teacher in the smallest yet effective way that I knew how.

Over the years this character has evolved into so much more. Being plastered on walls, canvases, bags, t- shirts, and naked women. Yes, a naked woman on a naked woman.
